CHANGES TO THE IIAI DIPLOMA

The Institute of Industrial Accident Investigators has notified its membership that the route to the IIAI Diploma in Industrial Accident Investigation and Analysis will change as of 1st January 2011.

IIAI Members pursuing their Diplomas with Neucom have until 31/12/11 to complete the units listed below and the final examination provided that they hold the LAIC and at least one HCU (higher compulsory unit) by 31/12/10...

Foundation Certificate in Industrial Accident Investigation and Analysis or approved exemption.

Managing Accident Investigation or approved exemption.

IIAI Lead Accident Investigators' Certificate; or the BBC's Lead Investigator Certificate.

HCUs

D2: Investigative Interviewing Skills (two-days).

D3: Legal Aspects (one-day).

D4: Behavioural Safety (two-days).

D5: Systems and Error Analysis (two-days).

 

Neucom has received clearance from the IIAI to complete in the following manner for IIAI and IIRSM members;

D2: Two-days (£425 plus VAT).

D3 & D4 combined: Two-days (£425 plus VAT).

D5 and Examinations: Two-days (£425 plus VAT).
